The Sun is Up

The sun is up and so am I. I thank God for a good night's sleep in spite of what had been an aching hip from my fall yesterday. I am thankful for all the herbs that are piled on my kitchen table from when they had to come in out of the rain yesterday. I thank the lord for the hopes of a long hot bath. Lord help me never take access to good water, not to mention HOT water, for granted. Thank you Lord for my sleeping family and the church we will attend in a few hours.

I hear the kitten crying for food. There are things to be done.
