Showers of Blessing

In case you don't know it, I am of all people blessed! My life is not trouble free. On the contrary, at this moment, I am overwhelmed, unable to do well all that needs doing, tempted to worry, at risk of being fired from a couple of friendships due to neglect, and a fairly poor excuse for a wife and mother. BUT I serve a God who knows what is best for me. He uses ALL things for my good, whether I like them or not. How blessed I am to know that my God is looking out for me and carving out a good path for my stumbling feet.

Here are some things I am thankful for that are working for good in my life.

1. Disobedient children.
2. Sickness
3. Disability
4. Not enough time or strength to get my work all done
5. Stretch marks
6. Old worn out vehicles
7. People who attack for no reason
8. Weariness
9. Worn out floors and porches
10. High prices of food, fuel, etc.

This is the song that I was singing in my sleep last night. When I awoke, it was raining hard for the first time in a couple of months.
